WHAT IS DREAM CATCHERS NETBALL

SNAP SHOT!

The Dream Catchers U15 Netball Academy is a no cost educational program, operating across 7 zones in Victoria. The aim of the program is to educate and empower young girls to become leaders within their community. The Academy is holistically about MIND, BODY and SOUL and living a healthy, balanced life. It includes 3 educational workshops, whereby the focus is on healthy living, goal setting, reducing risk taking behaviour, developing leadership and coping strategies, as well as overcoming adversity. There is also a component around taking personal responsibility around managing personal social media platforms, which is a huge part of teenagers lives today. All academy’s will join in a state leadership conference on Sunday 27th November, to begin their yearlong community give back project.

This program commences in Term 3 and was launched in mid May.
